SealsTrust (operated by Seals Data LLC) is committed to ensuring the security of our platform and the data of our enterprise partners. If you have discovered a security vulnerability on sealstrust.com, we encourage you to disclose it to us immediately. We will review all legitimate reports and resolve verified issues as quickly as possible.

1. Fundamentals & Safe Harbor

If you follow the principles below when reporting a security issue, Seals Data LLC will not initiate legal action or enforcement investigations against you.

  • Provide reasonable time for us to review and repair the issue before making any information public.
  • Do not access, modify, or use data belonging to other accounts without explicit consent.
  • Make a good-faith effort to avoid privacy violations and service disruptions.
  • Do not exploit a discovered vulnerability for any reason.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Bug Bounty Program

We recognize and reward security researchers who help us protect our infrastructure. Bounties are awarded at the sole discretion of Seals Data LLC based on the impact and severity of the report. To qualify, reports must be submitted via contact@sealstrust.com.

3. Reward Structure

Our rewards are based on the impact of the vulnerability. The amounts below are the maximum we will pay per level:

Critical Severity — Up to $1,000

Vulnerabilities allowing Remote Code Execution (RCE), Privilege Escalation to Admin, or direct financial theft.

High Severity — Up to $500

Lateral authentication bypass, disclosure of sensitive corporate information, or stored XSS.

Medium Severity — Up to $100

Logic design flaws and business process defects affecting multiple users.

Low Severity — Recognition

Issues affecting individual users requiring significant interaction. Eligible for recognition, but typically not monetary rewards.

4. Report Requirements

To be eligible for a bounty, your report must include:

  • Detailed, reproducible steps to demonstrate the vulnerability.
  • Clear description of the potential impact.
  • Reports must be unique — we only award the first person to report a specific issue.
